The opportunity
Our client is a specialist investment advisory firm recruiting a Director for an Africa-focused infrastructure investment platform. This senior role will lead complex transactions, client relationships, and business development across infrastructure and energy investments.
Responsibilities
- Lead origination and execution of infrastructure investment transactions.
- Manage relationships with clients, investors, DFIs, and project sponsors.
- Lead financial structuring, due diligence, and commercial negotiations.
- Support fundraising and strategic business development initiatives.
- Oversee junior investment professionals and transaction teams.
- Represent the business across industry events and stakeholder engagements.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in infrastructure finance, project finance, investment banking, or private equity.
- Strong track record leading complex transactions in emerging markets.
- Experience working with DFIs, institutional investors, and infrastructure sponsors.
- Excellent commercial, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to be based in London, Nairobi, or Amsterdam.
